Ralph did this on Lumena, on the old 386.
After painting the thatch of autumn leaves, he experimented with
some of the computer functions. He selected "emboss",
and in the process liked the effect as the process slowly moved
up the screen. One advantage of the old slow machines-- it put the artist more in control as the various processes could be halted partway through for marvelous effects that happen too quickly in some cases today. |
